First things first, let’s talk about products.
The hair products you apply and how you apply them directly affect stay time.
What to Apply
To create curls that last all day, you need 5 things:
Dry Shampoo
Weather Proofing Spray
Working Hairspray
Curl Cream
Strong Hold Hairspray
Application Tips and Exceptions
Regardless of your hair type, you’ll wanna make sure your dry shampoo is fully activated.
For all you fine-haired Queens, skip the working hairspray, curl cream, and strong hold hairspray and use a medium-strong hold spray to finish.
Technique and Tools for Lasting Curls
Next, let’s talk tools and technique.
Tools
For the longest-lasting curl, you are going to want to either flat iron curl or wand curl. The amount of tension and even the way you are holding the hair when curling it will affect the longevity.
