The first Chat..
On my first call with Jessica I instantly felt for her as I do with every other bride I have this convo with. She had an earlier preview appointment with another artist and after the session, didn't feel like herself at all. She said the look was great, just not for her. This is a super common complaint I hear from brides who have had a preview with a different artist.

We met, fell in love, listened to EPIC 90's hits & created her dream vision: to look like the red carpet version herself! Jess is a minimalist, loves just a touch of sparkle, has super thick hair. Her biggest worry is being overdone and her hair not holding the wave since it is super straight. She wanted lashes but nothing that was obnoxious. My response, "Jess you are speaking my language"!
For Jess's hair, we did a loose, boho wave. I prepped it using my signature technique that can make any thick, fine, super straight or difficult hair, wave perfectly AND stay the entire night. The result: your waves last until the next day creating perfect, "I woke up like this" honeymoon hair!

To add a unique touch of flair that spoke to Jess's vision, minimalist with a touch of glam, I placed her bridal hair crown underneath a layer of hair so that it added a bit of shimmer in the light. This complimented her gorg Bagdley Mischka #dream heels & sparkly bridal belt perfectly! #customdetails
For makeup, we kept it super simple. I used champagnes & beige on her lid to make her eyes pop just enough and added lashes to help define her eyes since they are hooded. We went with a natural nude lip and kept her skin nice & glowy so it would reflect nicely in the sun during her beach shoot and in the evening through HD camera flash.

Now for the girl gang.. omg they were so super cute! From low key & shy to absolutely vibrant and hilarious-- each soul was a pleasure to work with! Each beauty agreed to have a bit of a braided twist to compliment Jess's boho chic theme.
I like to call the bridal beauty session the "wedding before the wedding". You create memories that will last a lifetime: inside jokes, new and old bonds & glamming with your favorite people in the entire world!
